Nepon Day is a themed hackathon designed for anime lovers and tech enthusiasts! Whether you're a fan of classic anime or the latest series, Nepon Day brings together students and developers to create software projects and engage in an exciting, anime-inspired environment. Our goal is to blend technology and anime culture by encouraging participants to build creative solutions while fostering a sense of community and fun among all attendees.

 

Throughout the event, participants will work on innovative projects that integrate anime-themed software, tools, and experiences. From games and apps to community platforms and more, Nepon Day is all about making your anime dreams come true with code. Come join us for an exciting, collaborative experience filled with creativity, coding challenges, and anime-inspired fun!

Requirements

For Nepon Day, we encourage participants to build projects that incorporate anime culture, either through anime-inspired themes or the creation of software solutions for the anime community. Here are the submission requirements:

  • Project Type: Participants can submit anything from anime-themed apps, games, and platforms, to anime-related tools or communities.

  • Code & Documentation: Please submit all source code through a GitHub repository or a similar platform. Include clear documentation explaining how the project works, how to set it up, and any other technical details.

  • Presentation: Include a short presentation or demo video (max 3 minutes) showcasing your project and its anime connection. This video can be uploaded to YouTube or Vimeo.

  • Team Information: If working in a team, please provide the names and roles of all team members.

  • Final Submission: Ensure your project is fully functional and ready for evaluation by the submission deadline on October 12th, 2025 at 8:00 PM (CDT).
